When iTunes talks about transcoding any unsupported formats to ALAC when syncing to iPod, which of these does that mean?: I'm sure that will be easy enough for me to figure out, which brings me to my main set of questions:Īssuming I can point iTunes to the same folders as I do for Swinsian, iTunes will create that same library for me based on all the files it's been pointed to - great. So would I be right in thinking that I need to get my Swinsian library over to iTunes, and then onto the iPod? I know I could go the Rockbox route, but I want to try iTunes first. Recently revived my iPod and installed 512gb onto it, and looking to get my library on it. Have a mixture of different files but mostly AIFF, FLAC, MP3 and WAV (in order of how many I have of each, most first). Looking for another pair of eyes on this.
